A busy little shop full of mostly handmade goods. The walls are bare rough wood, farm-style

This place is smaller than I remember

Barn N Bunk Farm Market

For those of you who chart the weather by my watch band: I switched from nylon to leather today so now it is cold (somewhere)

A section of the LA river that is teeming with growth. A foot bridge crosses the span past some trees. In the background there are tall hills, scattered houses, and tall structures holding up power lines.

Los Angeles River

A bronze plaque mounted on a short concrete plinth, just a few inches off the ground. It reads: “Lewis MacAdams Riverwalk - At the center of itself the river is silence - Lewis MacAdams”

Sunnynook Pedestrian Bridge

The distant bank of the LA river. Mountains in the background, and birds perched on the wire above the shallow water.

Los Angeles River Bike Path

The edge of the bike path under the Glendale-Hyperion bridge. The steep slope of the bank meets with a solid wall holding up the bridge and a sharp angle, creating a strange and uninviting little angular passage

This is where my Halloween show takes place

Los Angeles River Bike Path

Two sections of the Glendale-Hyperion bridge, seen from the path that passes below them. They are both arched, but offset verticall, such that the upper edge of one is complete below the other and creates a little slice of sunlight. Through the gap we see power lines.

Look at how these architectural pieces interact!!!

Golden State Freeway

The sun setting on the LA river. The Red Car Trolley foot bridge cross in the background, a sandy portion of the bank precedes it, and in the foreground is a concrete anchor bearing a hasty graffito that reads “CRUST”

Los Angeles River

A selfie where my face is mostly out of frame. Behind me is a long perspective through the house, and in the far background is Travis Barker the Dog watching me from the sofa.

Felt like I was being watched
